Teaching Partner

Meghan Pellegrino

Meghan joined Elkhart in 2004 as a classroom teacher.  She obtained her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in 2006 at the University of Colorado at Denver and is now the Teaching Partner here supporting the academic growth and success of the students by facilitating PD and partnering with teachers to analyze data, implement curriculum, design instruction, and work toward deeper understandings of how children learn.  She is married with two teenagers and loves being outside hiking, skiing, and playing when she can.

My job is to accelerate the learning of every APS student every day.

I do my job by ensuring that every student shapes a successful future by building teacher capacity through the implementation of effective instructional practices.  This includes:

My community needs me to do my job!

Molly Lipkin

Molly Lipkin joined the Elkhart team in 2021. She obtained her doctorate degree in school psychology from the University of Colorado – Denver in 2020, following receiving her master’s degree in counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2014. Molly has worked as a child and adolescent therapist in Denver since 2014, where she is originally from. When she is not with her students, Molly enjoys hiking, yoga, reading and traveling.

My job is to accelerate the learning of every APS student everyday.

I do my job by providing social, emotional and behavioral supports for children, celebrating differences, advocating for inclusive learning opportunities, and creating a safe (and fun!) environment for students to form supportive relationships with peers and trusted adults.

My Community needs me to do my job!

Social Worker

Jordan Glaude

Jordan Glaude joined the Elkhart family in 2019. She obtained her Master’s degree in School Social Work from Colorado State University in 2013. She has been a social worker for over 10 years working in different fields and populations including schools and foster care. When Jordan is not with her students, she enjoys playing with her daughter, going on local adventures and spending time with friends.

My job is to accelerate the learning of every APS student every day.

I do my job by providing social, emotional and behavioral support to all students by looking at the whole child through an equitable lens that allows all students to reach their full potential while feeling connected and cared for.

My community needs me to do my job!

Social Worker

Erin Waanders

Erin Waanders is new to Elkhart this year and has been working in social work for a little over five years. This is her third year working for Aurora Public Schools and she feels privileged to support such amazing students, staff, and families in the APS community. She has her MSW from Metropolitan State University of Denver. In her spare time, Erin enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.

School Nurse

Wendy Esquivel

Born and Raised in Denver, Colorado. I have worked with Aurora Public Schools for 8 years as a School Registered Nurse. I have worked site based with Middle School children and moved to an itinerant position to work with elementary school children. Before APS, I worked in multiple specialties as a Float RN at Denver Health and worked in pediatric home health. I enjoyed working closely with the families and children to help them receive trusted care. I am married with three fur babies with one a little white terrier mix (he talks a lot) and two big great Danes (they are the biggest babies and lap dogs). I really enjoy paddle boarding and going on adventures with my husband. So excited for this new adventure to be a part of the Elkhart community.
